Anyone else got snow?

Was driving home last night and was slightly surprised to be confronted with a blizzard. Visibility near zero at times with severe drifting. Got stuck twice despite snow tyres and 4wd - should have taken the Land Rover :rolleyes:

Took a few photos but they came out mostly white :p

He he good pics Jamie. We got a covering overnight but it's turned to rain and slush now ... They reckon Sunday is going to be really cold apparently ... :icecube:

We got four inches yesterday. Least snow of anywhere else around. 30 miles north of us, in a twenty minute period, they had 2 1/2 inches fall, about 6 to 8 total. Total white-out for that 20 minutes. No snow after 9 last night and a beautiful sunny afternoon today melted most of the roads but it is now about minus 8. I think I'll go and turn up the thermostat.

Last night my kid drove over to visit. Said he had to use 4wd to get here in the 4" of snow. I just laughed because he has a truck that weighs about 3000 lbs and has 12.5" wide tires on it.

Winds dies down here, was realy bad yesterday. I want snow... Go out with my tow rope and pull some nice girlies :D
 
This must be the mildest winter in the history of mankind!! the few flurries of snow we've had here hasn't settled, and there has been continuous rain.
whatever happened to decent settled frosty weather?????
seems like a distant memory...



and the most annoying thing about it.... the dumbass weather reporters on tv seem to think mild weather is a good thing:(

Must have missed the winter.

Not seen any snow but I have seen plenty of Catkins and crocus leaves are about 2" high around here.
 
All we have had is wind,rain,wind rain and more wind, we need snow please, were not greedy but the wind,rain thing is getting really boring now!!!!:depressed
