Splitting a HD into....

..two identities, is it done by bridging or it it done electronically, by mapping a drive???? Two of mine are split like this, and it makes it very easy to stroe and find stuff...

Do you mean into multiple drives, like C: D: E: etc that's done on initial formatting or later with a special utility program. It's called "partitioning".

Thats what i mean... mmm so cant do it now, stuck with one big partition on my dirve...

I have used Acronis Disk Director Suite before with out any problems or data loss

Partion Magic works well. But if theres nothing on the drive you can do it in Disk Manger within windows.

The drive has stuff on it, i will have a look at some of the others suggested.. Just makes it easier to manage the files i think..

I too have used Partion Magic and it was very simple..........even for a computer clown like myself.

Believe me Toppa, Partion Magic is what you want. If I can use it anybody will find it very easy!!!!!
