Spotted on M3 New British Army Trucks

101Sean

Trekker
Know it's not LR related but saw 2 brand new MAN HX60s and a HX77 (new British Army trucks) on the M3 on Friday closely followed by a pair of Oshkosh HETs. Was all I could do to steer in a straight line I was so excited! (I know, I should really get a life but I can't help it!)

Saw several convoys on way back on Sunday of usual stuff but including a couple of Renaults that I've seen one of before but never mentioned in mags or MV forums.

I drive all over the country for work and see loads of Army vehicles on the back of trucks...i saw a very peculiar one last week, i will try and describe.

The front was very angled i.e |____\
0000
but a lot more than that...maybe even as far as 45% (very pointed)
I cant remember how many wheels there were, (poss 6+) but i remember they were covered by armour, (not a square piece that covered all but ovals that covered each individual wheel with just the bottom of the tyre showing.)

Unfortunatley 75% was covered by a tarp...any idea or have i seen the new super truck :p

Give it a few days Sean, they'll be covered with scratches & boiled sweet wrappers just like the rest of them:D

Could it have been a new Supacat....

Those HETs look like mightily impressive things - I'm yet to see one in the flesh but I'd make a bet that they have some road presence!

nope it wasnt that (ive seen loads of them)

and it looked untouched, so was either brand new or has been renovated

however from the look of the armour over the wheels it looked new.

Was it something like this SISU from Finland?
