can anyone help me or advise me as what to do i am new to the landrrover experience and i have a 2.5na 90 c -reg but the ol gal just wont start to well it seems like the starter is taking a hell of a lot of power from the battery and consequently now not starting without a jump start from my car.the battery is brand new so its not that is there a common problem with starters or is there any tests i can do myself to diagnose this problem....please can you help!!!drivin me crazy
 
thanks chap ill give it go tomorrow night when i get home from work:) also noticed that on this 90 the heater plug light on the dash dont go out itself i was told to hold it on for around 5-10 secs is this correct as im not sure?
 
Yep, the heater plug would be correct for a n/a, you hold it in the II position. If you let go of the key it should spring back to the I position. I position is for ignition, II is for heater plugs and III is to start. After its started it should go back to I.
