temperature gage reading cool

simoto

In Second Gear
hi, i,ve just spent a couple of hours fitting the spider bypass to my disco, and so far the problems of cutting out seem to be resolved. So thanks to those that gave me the tip, much appreciated.

Just wondering if the running temp on a disco can cool down quickly? I've noticed with mine it takes a while to warm up in the mornings, then on a 70mph run the temp gage will be at mid point, once i'm then off the 70 roads and driving round town the temp gage drops to just in the warm, about a quarter in the warm.

Is that normal on a disco? As with cars i've had once they have warmed up they have always stayed the same temp on these journeys???
