I started having the vaccination around Covid time (I’m 57) and was grateful this year.Day 7 after contracting the Flu and I'm finally starting to feel relatively normal although still weak. I haven't had it for a few years and I'd forgotten how hard it can hit. I guess at 56 years old it's about time I start getting the vaccination on a yearly basis...
I caught the flu , probably from the boys school / classmates. I was bad for two days but then seemed to recover quickly and by day 4 was back to normal.
No proof the vaccination helped of course but I suspect it did.
Btw - apart from a sore arm for 24 hours I had no reaction from the jab either.
