the police in concert

Big Landy Fan
i hear they are doing a new album and then they will be doing a tour :)

i was just looking for tickets £145-£395  sure they cant be that much or is that the ticket offices just trying to rip us off before they even set a date for the concerts ?

Police - Sat 08 September 2007, Wembley Arena, London gold block £595 yikes i wont be seated there then :(

I would imagine those speculative rip of tickets prices as the dates etc have yet to be confirmed, I would expect tickets are more likely to start from about £40 from the venue box offices.

Certain Ticket site says:

Face Values:
London: Economy Seats = £ 45, Silver Seats = £ 65, Gold Seats = £ 100

But we want
London: Economy Seats = £ 125, Silver Seats = £ 145 - 245, Gold Seats = £ 275 - 595

Don't think it's the Police that are thieves:D

I'm going to see the police tonight - the Derbyshire Constabulary Choir - price of tickets £5 drinks included (so they can nick us on the way out if we get the car keys out) Will be wearing 3 jumpers as the church heating is dodgy - it will either be hot in there somewhere nearing Barbados or freezing our nads off!

There is no way I pay over £50 a ticket for anyone!

Remember a girl I went to school with many years ago saw the said group in concert, she was a big Sting fan, she was very disappointed with them, Sting appeared knackered after thirty minutes... the year 1983, just before we left school:eek:
My personal fav was Stuart Copeland:D
My first ever single I paid good money for was " Message in a bottle" still have it!
would I pay good money to see them these days?
No, they should be remembered with affection, memories of school and great friends who have disappeared into the ether since leaving school!

Still I bet Jackie George would still pay silly money to see a knackered Sting!

cheers, Ali;)

Derbyshire Constabulary Choir were brilliant - just got back. They raised over £3000 for Marie Curie Cancer Care and handed a cheque over to them and the nights proceeds went to Rainbow Hospice - 2 very worthwhile causes.

As far as I can make out I think SWMBO has got (or is getting tickets)

Haven't been to a concert in years, big venues put me off. I'd rather see a good band in a boozer.

So I ain't going!!
