Towing.Not disco but let me have this one.

Rules may well have changed - but it always used to be the case that so long as towing vehicle was fully certified then towed vehicle didn't necessarilly have to be taxed, MOTed, etc.

This was certainly the dodge we used as youngsters to bring home many an "illegal" new purchase.....

If parked on a public road it must have road tax.

Lacy could probably give the best answer as he has the Regulations. ( and will give you the ticket if he's having a bad day :rolleyes: )

It used to be that if on a loose towing device, such as a rope or chain, you had to have tax and a Full Driving Licence as you are a Driver in Full Control. If it's on a bar, you are a Steersman, so not in full control.
