v8 engine, no spark !

In Fourth Gear
following an engine swop, my v8 engine has no spark. I've got no voltage going to the coil. Have I got a wire wrong on the starter motor ?
 
Does the engine turn over on the key??
If so, Check that you have an ignition +ve RED wire going from the key barrel to the +ve side of the coil.

As an aside,putting a switch on this cable makes an excellent immobiliser;)
