Well my time is up

Well my time in NZ has come to an end, im currently packing for the flight this afternoon :D


Dont want to leave, the time has gone so quickly and seems to be lots i havnt done yet :(

Got sunburnt yesterday, tad sore today, but hey its a lasting memento, although a foolish thing to get burnt by the NZ sun, but hey...

Off to singapore for two days then onto london, not looking forward to thew cold and the dark! Hot here and hot in singapore... looking even less forward to going back to work, battling the horrendous traffic, battling the horrendous amount of people :(


This is the longest i have been in nz SINCE I LEFT IN Aug 1999, and it has really hit home this time about the differences and the lifestyle i gave up to go to england, i really cannot see myself in england past the end pf the year, in fact if i didnt have bills, credit cards, phones etc to tidy up in england, i would be very tempted not to have got on the plane this afternoon........

Just watched the Filth Files on TV, NZ enviromental health dept. visiting take aways and restaurants. Graded A-E, Other Half runs catering in UK, what they give B to would barely get permission to open.

Plus the Inspectors would fail on dress code!
 
I'm pushing (oh so very gently) for the other half to look at transfering to Oz, Nz or Canada as I'm really peed of with being in the UK for the last 8 years plus the morgage has gon up from £1400 to £2200 per month (yep fixed rate ended then 2 rate rises) which is just not palying the game

Time to move on again.

No one moves to NZ for the take-aways. I think one of the reasons bio-diesel has not caught on here is that none of the take-aways change their oil. Ever!
 
You can't leave Toppa. Nobber will be heart broken. :sobbing: Who's gonna fix his landy once you've gone? you'll have to train someone up before you go :D
