Does one shot grease come in different grades or will anyone do …Definitely a leaking swivel seal.....fill it with one shot and get yourself some swivel gaiters that way you won't have to look at it.

Thankyou I ordered some on eBay “Sachet “ with that no STC3435S ..firm called 4x4allmakes …I’ve bought bits from them before so should be ok . PaulPaddocks sell one-shot in either sachets (easier to use but more fragile) or plastic bottles (harder to squeeze out but less likely to leak everywhere).
I prefer the sachets, but I just checked and the only sachets seem to be LR genuine at about £18.
STC3435S was part number for sachet. STC3435B was part number for bottle.
Other places still list the BR sachets;
One Shot Grease
Use one tube of one shot grease per swivel in addition to greasing the CV joint.ashcroft-transmissions.co.uk
Some swivels were manufactured with drains and some without. I cant remember if there was a cutoff date or if it was specific to certain applications, but it may have been when they stopped specifying EP90 and recommended grease?
Should just need a spanner. Probably an imperial size rather than metric though.
Thankyou .ive soaked them in WD for a couple of days so so hopefully will loosen a bit ..Sometimes the ring end of a different sized spanner gets a better grip.
Didn’t think of an adjustable..time I get to have a go will be the weekend so should be ok .Got mine off with adjustable ,WD 40 pain in arse.
Sometimes yes, but this is a square head so dont use a ring spanner or you will likely round it off.Sometimes the ring end of a different sized spanner gets a better grip.
That’s very kind of you I will see how I go with what I have if all failsI've an old tool that fits sump plugs. One end has a 1/2" square hole. You can borrow that if it'd be useful.
Why would the lift pump suddenly give out? Is it because you took the injector pump off or completely unrelated? Either way really bad timing.Turns out the lift pump isnt (lifting) so now got two on order as I need it ASAP and will keep the other as a spare...
