Hi all,
This may seem a really dumb question but, i'm trying to fit a Rebel steering guard to my 300tdi and one of the bolts that it mounts to wont come undone. Its a long (10"ish) arm and has got the antiroll bar attached to the bottom of it and bolts on with 2 bolts at the top, the bolt im trying to undo is about 6" long and it take a 19mm socket. There is only 1 arm and its on the drivers side (rhd). Just wondering if its ok to take a blow torch to it? Is the arm threaded or can i just bang the c**p out of it?
Thanks,
Pete.

Just had a thought, i was trying to undo the bolt while the weight of the disco was on it. Do you think if i jacked it up and put axle stands under the chassis then a jack under the axle and take the weight up with that it may come out?

no its not threaded but use a punch to knock it out as not to damage the thread on bolt end.on n/s put a bolt threw were the guard lines up as there isnt one 300 tdi bumper will fit back on ok but 4 hands would help some times the guard can line up slightly out use a big hammer worked for me
