wheel wash

Nick T

Overdrive!
May sound like a daft question, I went over the wheel wash at work and the dif lock light came on but only very dim? I was on the motorway before I saw it,it took a short while to go off. What's all that about?

Maybe the cleaning chemicals are conductive to electricity. Some cleaning chemical may have got into the terminal and completed the circuit to the dashboard.

Once the chemicals had dried off, everything was back to normal.

Its only water, I was thinking more about the transmission? Basically it's just a big pit with rollers on it, like a wheel shaker.

Yeah water conducting sounds like the most logical explanation, the Diff lock light is either on.. or off.... or... on and off as it feels like with mine. ;)

On a different note; my notifications of new forum postings are sent to my gmail account.

I'm accessing that account using a web browser on my cellphone at the moment.

The gmail robots scan emails looking for keywords and then place targeted adverts on the right of the screen.

While reading the email, I was shown the following four "sponsored links":

Can I therefore assume that us Land Rover owners are a bunch of sinners in need of sedatives?
