My insurance company is up in arms about my putting steel wheels on after have the standard fit 17inch alloys and want an extra £60 on my insurance. So i am seeing what the options are for 17inch tyres


Any other ideas for 225/55 R17s, or any 17inch tyre close the that size?

Ummm why are your insurance guys up in arms about this? if your sticking standard LR steel rims on it shouldn't matter, if anything it should reduce your premium as they are less desirable! :rolleyes:

thats what I have claimed now...i have written them a letter even offering to to take photos of the car with both on! :rolleyes:

Just waiting for a reply and looking at my options should it all go tits up :eek:
