Which size bolts to attach a NATO hitch

Which size bolts do i need for attaching a NATO hitch to the back of the defender ?

are they a stonger type bolt and where could i get them ?

Si Guru has won yet another quiz. Is this a quiz :rolleyes: I have high tensile steel bolts for my Nato hitch to my Series III.

Blanchards may have them. My adaptar plate including nuts and bolts came from them.

(PS Mods I have recommended Blanchards a few times, but this is just because I have found them good, and if you are looking at ex-mil, he is an obvious option)
 
You should have one that goes between the hitch and the crossmember and then a another one on the back of the crossmember.

Bolts go through the lot.
 
There is on my series, one goes on the back of the rear cross member and the other on the front. On mine. Don't know about defs and mil cross members are diff too. Plenty of experts around though. :) Adrian
