Thought i would ask that one as i keep seeing the dog thread.
Always found the farm cats loved the land rover on the farm, either sleeping on the bonnet or if they could, inside.

why does it look like the cat having a green tie on is thinking ... yeh yeh ok put a tie on me and take the picture ...

My wee girl is unfortunately no longer with us. I loved her like a daughter (probably more - can't suffer children). Keep looking at the cats protection website but have so far haven't got another one. The future is too uncertain to commit and it took me a very long time to get over losing Misty.

If you look at most the photos from outside my house that I have posted here you will see my cat 'kat'. She was a stray that was given to my then partner. We split up about 6 months later and she was supposed to come get her... she never did. Kat was always around when I was working on cars, and would sit on my chest while I was lying under the cars. She was never far away. She had to be put down during covid around 10 years old, Maybe one day I will have another but honestly she would be hard to beat as cats go.

No longer with me but Tuigamala was a constant source of entertainment.

Henry was the most laid back creature I think I have ever known

Thomas was like an old soldier, "Got this limp see" Had a barometric nose, happy cat his nose would be almost white, agitated cat it would be bright pink

and Mulligan was an absolute thug, used to eat a rabbit a day and terrorise all the dogs in the street. Would wait, on the garage roof, for me coming in from work. Then, when I had closed the door he would jump down onto my shoulder, scared the living daylights out of me the first time he did it (11pm at night)

Don’t get me wrong I like cats but they fekin hate me , I don’t understand , used to have one when 8 was younger (Sam cat) , he was unbelivable , since we lost him ,that’s it , they all ,claw me ,bite or run ,🥺

My family are dog people; I like cats but can't read them like I can read dogs. I'm always delighted when I get to meet a friendly cat. Erubus: so sorry to read about your cat, I remember you posting her picture once before, it is obvious that you feel the same way about your cat as I do about my dogs. Nothing fills a hole like that but another cat - or dog.

Got two. This is the latest. When our last cat died following a botched veterinary operation we got him to keep the other company. A Rag Doll. Old pictures from just after he arrived at 3 months old. He is now 6.5Kg and stretched out is almost 3ft of fluffy fur. Only 10 months now and got a lot more growing to do yet. A very willful, single minded (I'm going to do this whether you like it or not) ball of energy. Loves playing fetch and when he wants to play will pick up a toy and bring it to your feet - almost dog like - and often at around 4am. From a sitting position will jump almost 5' into the air and pull the light cord in the bathroom. Has attitude!
