Why an I blowing so many brake lights?

Don't press so hard on the pedal
No seriously, could it be due to a higher ambient temperature out there & rougher road surfaces?
They'd cause a hot (& subsequently) brittle filament to break??
That's just my take on the matter.

Kept happening to me, sometimes weekly
Changed to LED bulbs which have been fine for nearly a year
