Will Discovery TD5 wheel hubs fit the Defender?

Has anyone any knowledge as to whether just the hubs on the Discovery 2 TD5 will fit directly on a late Defender 90 axle? I'm exploring whether they are interchangeable with the intention of fitting alloy wheels with the smaller stud PCD as used on the Discovery 2 and Range Rover LM. I'd rather not use 'wheel adapters' and would appreciate any advice offered.

No they wont i did a full set of discs on a disco the other day and there completly different on the end of the axle tube, plus there exspensive about £200 for one rear bearing!

As said, totally different construction. You can get wheelspacers/adaptors though to fit D2/P38 rims to Defender/RRC/D1 hubs.
