How Do I? wiring loom

hi started renovating series2a want (need more like)to replace full wiring loom ,any one tell me whats involved and where i should start cheers

which loom do you need to replace or is there only one on a 2a?

Phone autosparks. tell them what you have currently.

Year. (have a the suffix off the VIN number just incase)
Positive or negative earth?
Alternator or dynamo?

Do you want any additions? Front spots? trailer hitch wiring?

3 main seperate parts IIRC

Main loom (dashboard front lights etc..)
Chassis loom (rear lights)
Engine loom (alt / dyno feed, temp guage, oil guage)

Then there is a few smaller bits like the bits for the dipswitch.

A bloke on the old LRE forum gave a step by step on wiring a series with trailer cable. It was ace when done. I still couldn`t follow it all. Bloody Voodo
