Woohoooooo....

Median

Overdrive!
Took the first of my online assessments this morning for my City and Guilds Light Vehicle Service and Repair.

Got a Credit :) (between Pass and Distinction)

If it weren't for my darned apnoea muddling me brain I might have hit a distinction.

Still....

Quite pleased

Cheers

Thanks Guys

Heard from my tutor that only about half a dozen of us passed out of 24 or so that sat it this morning.

Probably something to do with the fact that the majority of em muck about during the technical lectures and we seem to be way behind some of what was being tested today.

Can't believe though that I got 0% on Suspension, wheels and tyres :o

Annoying thing is I sat and checked through my answers at the end and changed a couple in that section that I KNOW were correct initially.

Anyhoo....

Know what I need to brush up on.

Cheers

Well done, that is a very good 'score'. If the questions are 'vote for joe' (mulitple choice), I've always found them to be particularly difficult on technical subjects. It depends how many choices are given for each question, but if there are four then there will be a ridiculous one; one that is not correct; one that it might be and the one that is correct.

I always read the question and worked out the answer (electronic/logic exams are mostly 'open book') before looking at the answer to see which most acurately matches my answer.

And I never change anything after I finish the paper.

Bet you're pleased though mate - you'll sleep well tonight! :D

Well done. I sat the same exams about 20 years ago got a pass with distinction for the engine & transmissions part and Pass with credit for the chassis and components exam.

Then got offered a job working as a night support worker for a charity providing accomodation for young homeless people, so never got to put them to any use.
