UK Corwen Carwash ford OPEN again - With evidence...

Well the ford is definitely navigable once more. Yesterday whilst out walking the dogs I heard a loud roaring diesel engine sprinting down the country lane and by the time I got to the ford crossing there was a Defender 110 CSW 200tdi sat at the gate.

So I stopped to watch the action... Naturally...



and then on the way back...

and the inevitable billowing steam...



It was amusing to be "the nosey dog walker" and not the guy behind the wheel being observed I hope the family had a good rest of their trip through this beautiful country.

Sadly there are no fords here as the bloody rivers are all dry! Poly-tunnels and hydro-electric dams have taken it all…oh, did see a Ranger earlier though!

Well this is a lovely river, so full of life and at the moment running high and fast. Had a lovely walk down by it with the dogs this evening.
