Dash failure, loss of power.

In Second Gear
On my Mk1 Freelander 2003 I have an intermittent dash failure, all lights come on, needles go to zero, apart from the fuel gauge. When it happens there feels like a momentary loss of power, then seconds later starts to work again but with the two amigos plus hand brake warning light still on
Has any one experienced this, if so can you please advise thank you
