Freelander 2 auto front Windows down not up

Accelerating Away
Hi my fellow landies, it's been 5 years since I sold my hippo and left the uk shores to explore the beaches of OZ and as soon as I could, I furnished myself with a gorgeous FL2 SD4 sports LE, and I love it.
Suffice to say it's been a long time since I posted on the site.
Hope someone can help.
The front Windows will wind down automatically with a heavy press of the button but they will no longer automatically wind up. Likewise if I press the key fob unlock for several second all the Windows of the car roll down but with a similar long press of the lock button only the rear Windows will wind themselves back up. Leaving the fronts down. It used to work so I assume a fixable issue. Thanks for any help you can give.
Chris

Thanks all I found the solution in another forum.
The windows will need to be reset if the battery*
is disconnected, becomes discharged, or*
power supply is interrupted.*
Reset as follows :-*
1. Close the window fully.*
2. Release the switch, then lift it to the close*
position and hold for two seconds.*
3. Open the window fully.*
4. Release the switch, then push it to the*
open position and hold for two seconds.*
5. Lift and release the switch to operate the*
one touch function.*
6. Repeat the procedure on each window.

Thanks so much for posting this horse280372. I had this problem on my way to work this morning, but had replaced my battery earlier this week. Initiated your procedure and all perfect now. The world is a better place with helpful people like you around.

Thanks again,
Beejco.
