Help - Freelander van fuel pump

tog182

In Second Gear
I have a Freelander 2 litre Td4 van (2001, Y registration), and it looks as though the fuel pump in the fuel tank has failed or is not getting any power to it.

In order to get to the fuel pump I need to take the floor up in the rear (as there are no seats) but cannot find any information on how to remove the floor to gain access to the pump.

If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I had same problem and it turned out not to be the pump but the inertia switch. You will find this under the bonnet on the top right handside. Cost me all of 5 quid from a landy breakers. I undid 2 screws, fitted it, and pump came to life. Although mine is the 1.8 petrol, not sure if Diesel freebie has same. Anyhow hope this helps. Mac
