How many digits

I'm looking for a td5 engine and saw this on ebay the advert states that it has probably done 58k but doesn't know for sure and supplies the picture of an odometer. Now on my td5 all 6 digits are miles but on this one the last digit appears to be a 10th of a mile.. Is this correct was there an odometer on the td5 that only went up to 99.999 k then back to zero

i can recall delivering a td5 to the RSPB and it having 1/10th miles on the main odometer, quite what happens when it gets to 99,999 I have no idea

last digit on that speedo is a 1/10th of a mile

when the total mileage gets to 99,999.9 the 1/10ths only show on the trip reading, the total shows a full 6 digit total reading, for example 500555

I watched that happening on my old work Td5, the decimal point disappeared between 99999.9 and 100000.
