Every so often you'll see a notice appear at the top of the forum. This is either to remind people to not do something (like posting links to pdf manuals for instance 
) or to draw your attention to something.
You can remove the notice once you have read it, with the X in the right corner, and it won't reappear. Otherwise it will remain until you do. Once closed it won't come back.
Sometimes these notices won't effect you personally, but you will still see them. Just delete and ignore in that case.
