Searching for Fuel Pipe Assembly for early TD4

Offroader
I need the fuel-pipe assembly (Part No. WJP000800) for an EARLY TD4 Freelander - specifically from between 'Y' reg and '51' reg vehicles (ones that have a fuel filter at the front of the Freelander, and ones that have a fuel-burning heater to boot..), as these vehicles have a fuel-pipe assembly that differs from both the preceeding Di Freelanders and the following (02 onwards) TD4 models.Specifically, I need the 5-way fuel valve that the pipes feed into (and out of, of course), as mine is not in a working (or usable) condition. I have had offers of the full pipe assembly via the Web (Amazonspares.com via 1stChoice Spares) of which the one I bought was supplied damaged, and the wrong year pipe assembly anyway. I am wary of accepting any more of these offers sight-unseen, having been burned once already. The attached pic shows the relevant parts from an old LRCAT catalogue. Following an old thread from these forums, one solution appears to be a BMW part No. 16121184632 (Distribution Piece), which needs 'adapting' using extra pipes to go over the distribution outlets and the old pipes. Whilst I am not averse to using this solution I may need to persuade the garage dealing with my vehicle that this is acceptable. So, does anyone happen to be breaking a TD4 Freelander of the right vintage? And/Or do they happen to have the Fuel-pipe Assembly available to sell? Or just the 5-way valve?Regards

The 5-way valve is a specialised connector with internal workings, as far as I can make out. Hence the need for a direct replacement if possible, so useful though your link is, none of the items shown appear to be the right thing. The RAVE manual gives the best description :-

As to the Peaks trip, that was in my old 1.8 Freebie that has, long since, gone to that big off-road course in the sky :) Current mount is 51 Reg. 3dr TD4 Auto, but still in black! Once this fuel problem is fixed (!) I hope to do some more Peak Laning ....

An update to my original post - By dint of studious searching throughout the web (OK - I used Google....), I came across the 5-way valve being sold as a replacement part by Brookwells. URL=http://www.brookwell.co.uk/item/5326/freelander-td4-external-fuel-pump--by-rear-wheel

A little bit more than the GBP 5.00 quoted from previous entrries on here, but still more than acceptable. I have ordered one, and will let you know the results.
