Your statement..Not on a 2a FFR... could be right ..or wrong .. paddocks do not show that type as the rear fitting .. but the picture you are using to justify your statement could well be wrong .. and the fitting of this type of lifting eye could well be in the wrong place... that is unless you can verify the position and the fact that paddocks are also wrong ...
No mate it is fitted that way for when it get rolled over upside down in a ditch ....In the first photo the eye is upside down if it's for lifting.

Ours had none.So are people saying it could have either rear eyes ?
I think I have a pair of them painted red. I use to hold the shed door open they seem which are much bigger than the front ones I have seen (wondered where they fit ) must have been on the older rear crossmember before the previous owner changed it as there are no holes for them in this one
