Thanks for your advice a few months ago. Now have a 1983 Lightweight.

i Need to purchase a pair of front bumpettes rtc4769. There are so many on eBay and from the pictures the quality varies greatly. Any recommendations on where to get a pair ?

Two points to note, that part number comes up as NOT lightweight front bumperette
Second, during later years bumperettes weren't fitted to lightweight.

You have 2 years before they close. When they do I imagine most of their stuff will go to LR series parts. At least I hope they do.
I'm in the midst of trying to renovate a 2a airportable and seem to be spending a fortune with them. In some cases they are more expensive than craddicks, but mostly they are cheaper and they seem to have a good stock of parts for the airportable. I know the 2a (lights in the grille) is a particular favourite of Peter's.
Incidentally the part number for the bumperette you seek Is: 559868 and yes they have them in stock, several options.
