Cool and wet this morning but looks like itāll clear up.

Another hour an Iāll be home.
When you get home, check all the nuts and bolts on your new springs for tightness. Just to be sure, nothing like a nice long drive on new springs to show up anything loose.
On the last 200m the sun came out!

It did work but not today. So I ran out of petrol very early in the morning in the middle of nowhere and in heavy fogā¦.
You can probably imagine how good it felt to switch over to the front tank and drive on

Aye, Norway and Sitka spruce felled, and looks like Norway spruce gone back in. There are some stands of deciduous trees gone in though. Seem to be doing ok.
They cut em down sell the timber then get the carbon credits and grants to replant, win win win.
For them, yes.
There was a lot of windfall the last couple years, big storms. It was likened to the hand of god, sweeping the trees flat.
The thing with that is that windfall timber has no value, and the growers have to produce a yeild per hectare, if they don't they have to pay the difference. Shame....
A lot was flattened here at the same time and two years on there is still a lot lying flat all around.
This last winter they have been going at it but I always see the mess and waste that they make extracting it.
