I'm absolutely chuffed to bits with Phoebe. We have just covered a little over 700 miles this weekend and she didn't miss a beat. Plus, sorting out the handbrake last week has made a HUGE effect to returned MPG... What an idiot, I should have refurbished the linkages ages ago.

Whilst cruising at 70mph in 6th and on cruise control she was bringing back between 46-48mpg which will do very nicely indeed. Add in some decent hills and some urban and it did not drop below 40mpg.

IMG_0345.JPG Taken at a service station.

Not bad for a 144k miles old, not bad at all :)

Tell you what though, it was crazy busy on the roads yesterday, so many people moving about and so many broken down cars on the side of the road... 18 on my way north yesterday evening.

Added the sun visor (painted with raptor to match the decals on the bonnet) and the light bar needs wiring up along with the rear one and other stuff I will get the auto elec to do all at once also put a mud stuff interior light in the back as the one in is not great.

Never knew there were sun visors available for a Freebie... Love the bonnet decals :)

Hi Kaney,
Noticed the tyre on your spare in the pix you’ve posted above. What are they? I’ve just got El Chinese Cheapos on that came with it and would like some more ahem, chunky tyres at some point in the future.
Cheers,
Michael.

General grabbers are on I prefer Yokohama geolanders ATs I have them on the FL1 car great allrounders and priced well too

Thanks Kaney. Checked out the Geolanders, and they seem a good price. But I’m thinking they’re not available in 225/55r17 which is what I’ve got. Any suggestions?
Cheers,
M

My 17" wheels rub the mud guards but they were on when I bought them so I will keep them on till they need changing I have bought some 15" alloys with tyres on for £140 for the 5 off Facebook marketplace which I will change to whenever might be worthwhile buying some 2nd hand alloys adding new tyres and then selling yours for the same as what you but the alloys for. at the moment I am getting new suspension parts ready for fitting along with a 30mm front 40mm rear lift to the van along with a new headliner and g sensor for the car so the money is spoken for before spending on the new tyres

Well she can pull the caravan for another year with a fresh MOT pass done today. New springs, shocks, mounts, rubber dust covers, wishbones and tracking rods just wished they had sorted the exhaust mounting that was the only advisory. Down to Bells engineering in April VCU and bearings etc bought a spare prop for £30 to exchange then a new head liner fitted and a tear in the drivers seat end of April. A spoilt FL1 getting lot's of
🥰
Bought most of the stuff since the last MOT in prep plus Christmas presents. The Series 2A is sat in dock waiting for her turn.
