Tales Of The Unexpected - Part 16

Tales Of The Unexpected - Part 16

It has been a couple of weeks since I posted a blog on here, mainly due to a lack of time and money to do anything to my Land Rover except get in it, and drive it to and from work.

I did spend an hour checking it over for the winter, making sure the washer bottle has got de-icer fluid in as well as water, checking the antifreeze level in the coolant, making sure the wiper blades and windscreen washers work and stuff like that, but nothing really interesting enough to blog about.

I would like to get a proper service in before winter starts in earnest, but I'm not sure when I will be able to fit that in.

I have attached my very nice LR UK sticker to the windscreen, courtesy of Simon2205, they are great, very eye catching, but nobody has waved at me yet.

Anyway, that's about it, really, except to leave you with this...

There was a young man from near Dover
Who owned a broken Land Rover
"Oh blimey" he said,
"the thermostat's dead,
and the radiator's boiled over!"

With sincerest apologies to those members who can write decent poetry...
