Freelander 1 clutch master slave, easy job for beginner or better getting a pro?

Greetings Ladies (presumably) and Gentlemen (and trolls),

This is is my first post on this type of forum, and I'm looking for advice on wether or not I could/should try taking on this bloody motor's latest fault, myself.

I guessed it was the master/slave when the clutch pedal hit the floor. I know very little about mechanics but I learn fast when a mechanic is taking £380 in labour for replacing a clutch, some three months past. I opened the bonnet after I was towed home for another look at what the problem might be, only to find what I'd describe as a push rod lying on the base of the 1.8 FL engine bay, with a plastic clip on its edge.
That decided the answer for me, almost. I would still appreciate someone with superior knowledge giving a pat on the back or a crack on the head, so to speak.

Also given my very limited experience in mechanics, I'd appreciate if someone could point me in the direction of a guide to replacing it, if it is indeed a job I could/should take on myself.

I would appreciate any help given.

Thank you, this is exactly what I found whilst searching.
It seems a fairly simple job, but I'm paying a semi pro to do it.
:)
