RR Sport engine failure - crank

My 13 plate 57k mileage RR Sport V6, serviced every year, engine seized yesterday - apparently the crank. It appears that this is “a regular occurrence” and I need to understand my rights under trade descriptions act, particularly as LR already acknowledge that this is a known problem.
Any guidance from previous experiences would be gratefully received.

If you do a search on here you will find plenty of previous threads. I think someone was trying to start a class action but no idea how far that got...

Engine died- crank shaft fault

I own a discovery TD4 HSE. 8 yr, less than 60k on clock. Fully serviced, Landrover approved, MOT pass in March. Returning from Aberdeen engine completely shut down on duel carriageway. No warning lights nothing. Once recovered garage say diagnostic test found that the crank shaft had seized...
