Delighted you found it useful. As was mentioned in another thread on welding, the welding is the quick bit. It's the fabrication and prep that take the time. I really pleased to have got into it, a very useful addition to the workshop and the more you do it the better your welding becomes.
All good stuff , must invest in one in the new year.
This is a great story and discussion Mick, gives me the confidence to jump right in, give welding a go and start stitching up my 1981 S3. Many thanks 🙏

You are most welcome and glad it has encouraged you to have a go. I had never tried to weld before so it was a completely new learning curve for me and I've been surprised how much I have used it on other things. Let us know how you get on.
