Early 107 build progress

Took me a while to figure out the braking system and throttle pedal placement.
Managed to sort it out and now making progress, brake pedal on and master cylinder going on nearside of chassis operated via a rod across the chassis
Got a throttle cable today and it'll be all sorted tomorrow ready to run the engine

Well its been wet and cold for what seems like months, finally got a nice day so bolted the wings onto the cab and fitted it on the chassis.
Started windscreen surround as well

Windscreens siloconed into place today, letting it dry overnight

Bit more done today, fitting solenoid tomorrow so should be trying engine this week

Fuel tank and battery all hooked up, engine on the button and tickover set to slow
Went to set tappets and find that they are hydraulic so hopefully they'll quieten down with use

Lining the three body sections up today, I'll bolt them later
Roof, bonnet and bumper to do now

This thing is so cool. I can't wait to see it driving around.
I know what your kill switch is for but it got me to thinking that a switch labeled "Kill" would be a fun conversation piece. I have to find a spot on my dash where I can put one...

I want a go faster button. It won't make it go any faster, but it might make me feel better....
