If it's the same battery as an '08 SDR, buy the battery (same as Pan European, or similar, but check) from a Honda dealer - much cheaper as Honda appear to either subsidise cost or sell at a far more realistic price than KTM.

I'd buy from the internet or look for an offer on,here's no KTM dealers near me anyhow. All the seals & bits have been purchased online.

Bike doesn't start battery charged it's cranking ok,not firing poxy thing now something else wrong

Checked that but I wouldn't rule anything out, clutch/side stand switch.

Found the cause fuel pump isn't working, I sprayed carb cleaner in the airbox & it wanted to start. So it's sparking ok just not getting fuel, either wires/plug or possibly pump gone. The damage is mild scuffs, the fuel pump behind where it took the jolt.

Bikes running somehow quick connect fuel line, became disconnected I was sure it had clicked into place 
Battery is suspect of being on its way out,these bikes have a high power 230 CCA yuasa. Mines definitely not 100% I will test the alternator on the bike too.

Not much happening on the landy front but Thunderbird engine stripped down , Sludge trap in the crank half full of poop, drive side main bearing gubbed and camshaft bushes loose on timing side .It'll need new bushes fitted both sides and reamed ,Crank also need a regrind on big ends , But the cams are in good nick and its off to the machine shop for the rest.

Ours is a 52 6T must be the original Triumph bobber. Ridged frame with the sprung hub.

Mine was customised XS650 front end & rear wheel,frame wasn’t standard. I replaced a crap looking tank with,a peanut twin cap harley tank. Chrome oil tank with a screw on oil filter,didn’t have one originally. I made loads of one off stainless parts, inc some nice forward controls.
Sprayed it with a mix of candy apple red & kawasaki metalic green.

Had a morning tinkering with the son in laws herald then while he was finishing off got my dt175mx out to finish off fitting an original rear light so it seemed rude not to have a quick rip around the garden it’s a bit of a handful in the confined space but what’s a wheelie or two between friends

I sold one to a mate years ago,he ran it a few years never serviced it Dunno what happened to it,probably went bang in the end. I like the old 2 stokes used too see DTs everywhere,now their rare as rocking horse
