It’s a LS7 or technically an LS7R (700hp / 620ft lbs). It was a tight fit with the headers but we managed to squeeze it between the frame rails with some creative exhaust routing. Believe it or not the 7 liter is actually lighter than the 2.25 L that I took out.
Should be enough power 😳 sounds great fun .seen these LS7 s in many a muscle car rebuild think they come in the new Corvette fuel injected ,looks like you have a D/P Holley ,good engine .The Aluminium block probably accounts for the lightness as compared with the 2.25.

How does the drive train cope with that..?
 
It copes well.. Of course I made a few upgrades to handle the power. Here’s the build sheet for anyone who’s interested.

Engine:

LS7R (LS427) Holley 850 double pumper, MSD 6014 ignition, single plane intake.

Trans:

NV4500HD w/ 5th gear fix, HD input shaft and Centerforce dual disk

Exhaust:

Dual 409 SS 3” w/ 2 full sized Dynomax mufflers, 2 pre-mufflers (4 total) X tube, and side exit.

Rear axle:

Trussed and sleeved Salisbury with custom 5 on 6.5” big bearing hubs, custom 35 spline 1.5” 300m 1-ton spec axles, Eaton Truetrac spinning GBR 4.10 HD gears.

Front Axle:

Trussed and pegged Rover banjo with Eaton Truetrac, 300M 24/23 spline axles, GBR 4.10 HD gears, Ashcroft (RCV) CVs, and D&D HD drive flanges

Brakes:

Home brew Hydroboost, Wilwood proportioning valve, stainless lines, line lock, and 13” disks

Steering:

P38 power steering conversion with bored swivel housings and upper CRB conversion

Suspension:

Front and rear anti-wrap bars, leaf packs w/ PTFE, 2”+ MOD shackles, poly bushes, Bilstein 7100s

Fuel System:

MOD dual tanks w/ -10AN feed and -8AN returns, 6-way valve, and Edlebrock Quiet-Flo 160GPH pump

Cooling system:

Be Cool Bone Yard LS swap radiator Part Number: BCI-35223

Cross flow ally radiator with dual 4,400cfm Derale fans/control and silicon hoses

Derale dual fan oil cooler

Prop shafts:

Ron Wood front & rear HD oversized

Wheels & tyres:

Wolf wheels w/ BFG Mud 255/85R16
