Passenger foot well leak

ive tried my best and all of the outlined areas are where there is evidence of water. The pictures of the floor mat is but to show the amount of water getting in and where it is. I think this narrows down do water getting around the heater box not entirely sure.

i have also used sealer around the wind screen hinge which is circled

Christ fella, there is a bit of a problem there isn't there, I'd get that carpet out of it till you find your issue, it's holding the water in place, you might get more of an idea with it out aswell, I'm lucky in that respect nothing on the floor other than 3mm aluminium so to me there ain't a worry

Its not ideal. I just need to determine whether its the sponge gasket or if its getting down where the bonnet meets the wing. What are your thoughts.

I think personally if it was causing that much of a problem on mine I'd be inclined to do a full out investigation, which basically means pull it apart till you find it, the sponge seal I was on about is stc952 or stc953, can't work out whether the part book means lhd or lhs but check that if your going to order that it wasn't that expensive, plus all the other advice the guys have put down aswell chase them all up

i have installed these after market top wing vents and from memory one of the standard top wing vents was a blank (didnt have any hole in it) could this be the issue

I doubt it, the tray underneath that vent should have a drain but you could check it isn't blocked in anyway
yeah i mean i dont have air con in the car so i dont think it can be the heater matrix as the heater in the car wont use liquid i dont think. it must be rain water from outside but i cant tell where its getting in from. How do i get to this sponge gasket does the car need to be in the air?

If you stop the water running from the outside down the bulkhead I think you will find a lot of drips in the cab stop.
If you do what I did except maybe a bit tidier it can only be a good thing.
BTW your heater matrix is full of radiator water from the cooling system. Air con is a different thing.
