i have also used sealer around the wind screen hinge which is circledive tried my best and all of the outlined areas are where there is evidence of water. The pictures of the floor mat is but to show the amount of water getting in and where it is. I think this narrows down do water getting around the heater box not entirely sure.

Yes I photographed the passenger side.ah yeah i can see what you mean will this work on the passenger side aswell
Its not ideal. I just need to determine whether its the sponge gasket or if its getting down where the bonnet meets the wing. What are your thoughts.Christ fella, there is a bit of a problem there isn't there, I'd get that carpet out of it till you find your issue, it's holding the water in place, you might get more of an idea with it out aswell, I'm lucky in that respect nothing on the floor other than 3mm aluminium so to me there ain't a worry
the 2 under the wind screen?Your front vents are sealing properly?
Yesthe 2 under the wind screen?
its the 2009 model i have and those 2 vents are acutely dummy ones that down open
That's a good point, does the water on the floor taste of coolantIf there's water dripping from the heater box then it's almost guaranteed to have come via the gutter or wing top.....unless your matrix has a leak that is.
Lol. See if it feels greasy and smells sweet. That's a good point, does the water on the floor taste of coolant
the car dosent have air conThat's a good point, does the water on the floor taste of coolant
I doubt it, the tray underneath that vent should have a drain but you could check it isn't blocked in anywayi have installed these after market top wing vents and from memory one of the standard top wing vents was a blank (didnt have any hole in it) could this be the issue

yeah i mean i dont have air con in the car so i dont think it can be the heater matrix as the heater in the car wont use liquid i dont think. it must be rain water from outside but i cant tell where its getting in from. How do i get to this sponge gasket does the car need to be in the air?I doubt it, the tray underneath that vent should have a drain but you could check it isn't blocked in anyway
